Well i think that the 4th owner is going to turn it back into a beautiful truck like the old girl deserves. Served me well and was a great truck.

I'm hoping to have it moving under its own power by the end of next year. Cab needs a bit of structural work before I can get it primered and back on the frame.

I hope these photos don't upset you too much, Martin. I haven't posted these before but they were all from early on in the project. Most from late 2014 to mid 2015. IMG_0436.JPG IMG_0444.JPG IMG_0442.JPG 20150531_191814.jpg 20151016_130915.jpg DSCN0309.JPG

I'm honestly itching to get it back together now. After the engine, the only big obstacle is the cab. Back wall needs to come off and the rear frame beam cut out and replaced. Firewall and floor have a couple small rot holes in them around the HVAC box. Roof has a long crack in it too. Figure if I may as well just strip it down to the structure, re-rivet it all with a high quality industrial adhesive at the joints to prevent leaks. Thinking about putting a bunch of lights in the back wall of the cab as well.

Up to what year of cab will fit Bruce.
I have a yard full of 900 parts. And the side shop full of more to keep my trucks going hopefully forever.

I agree. That Bruce would save a truck that used to belong to another member at TTR is an awesome development!

    Nice!

I believe 1982 was the last year for the A cab but the W900A could be bought as a glider until about 1984 I believe.

    Oxbow and MartinFromBC Thank this.

Not sure if i have anything that old left for a solid cab Bruce, but this weekend I'll look. Currently in Abbotsford, but be home late tomorrow. I am now mostly running 1990 to 1995 900s with 3406B power. Well except the three 2017 Macks, and the four newer trucks i bought yesterday all from 2004 to 2009. But in the back is still an older 900 and if the cab and hood etc is solid i can get that too you.
