No need to go to any trouble or anything. The original cab is definitely still solid enough to work with.

Well, now you know what colour to paint it, lol. Gorgeous truck.

It did look pretty sharp back in the day. My original plan was to paint it the same shade of blue in that photo but with some metal flake in it. I really want metallic black fenders but I'm not sure how that would look with the white striping on the hood.

Good thing someone saving parts. Lots getting scrapped here but mostly newer disposable trucks thanks to the high quality drivers:D

I do need a new fuel tank. Looks like someone took a sledge to the back of mine. Corroded under the straps pretty bad too.

Had a pretty neat idea for the fuel tank too. Gonna keep it under wraps for now though.

I like the painted tanks with the chrome ends and straps. Peterbilt Steve out of Tulsa does them often.

@MartinFromBC you wouldn't happen to know of anyone up in northern BC pulling lowbed with an old W900A? My dad sold his to a guy up there somewhere years ago. I believe it was repainted blue but it was yellow back around the early 2000's for sure.
