Just curious. Saw an old P/U done that way and it was awesome. I have never done a project as involved as yours. Thanks for the pictures and press on my friend.

I picked up a canadian built 900A a few weeks ago, it has the steel firewall as well.

There's a lot of steel in the Canadian cabs. Only aluminum in it are the doors, dash and rear cab skin. Rest is all steel and fiberglass.

The power to weight ratio has got to be insane at this point...

Does yours have the dual heater setup?

I have been unable to get a build sheet for mine from Paccar, they told me to reach out to a canadian dealer, but havent got around to it.

    Dual heater?

I just had the 1 core in the HVAC box under the dash. My old man had a '78 Canadian built one year ago. He added a 2nd heater under the passenger seat for extra heat.

Could be that this is because it is a bit older, it only has a fan control and no AC, but it has the unit under the dash ad then one between the seats.

Firewall mocked up for final placement. Top seam on the firewall welded/blended, drilled all mounting holes. Filled 2 holes in each side of the cab and re-drilled in a better spot, sandblasted under the dash area and around the door frame, re-welded the front cab mounts, prepped/primered the firewall and primered under the dash. Time for a shower, then chicken wings and beer!
