Well that's out. Bottom 3 inches of the back wall is toast. Just need to fab up a new beam, weld it in and replace the aluminum strip along the back.
After that its just fixing up the fiberglass roof, put all the huck bolts in and then its time for some bodywork.

Tacked in place. Clean up and then hot pass some 7018.
D.Tibbitt, God prefers Diesels, circle h and 9 others Thank this. -
Well I just might drag the cab into the shop over the holidays and finish up welding the gussets on the back beam and drill the rear cab mount holes. Or I'll be too sore from sledding. Either way it'll be a good time.

I got rid of most of them, didn't seem to generate much interest.

What year was your truck again? I figured out my truck was built with 44K rockwells as well. Seems to be a common thing.AModelCat Thanks this.

1980
44k seemed to be the standard up here before 46k became common. -
Mine has had 48K eatons put under it with same suspension, I haven't figured out the reasoning for that yet.

@Ezrider_48501 and Twin sticks generate a lot of interest. I know I'd waste even 20 minutes to watch your build.
