Will do. Haven't touched the truck in a while though. Still about 2 feet of snow on the ground here.

On the car side of things:

England changed to metric in the Early 70's

States started converting late 70s, was mostly metric early 80s.

As sub-assemblies where redesigned/upgraded the metric conversion happened.

My "new" suspension when I picked it up from a farm down on the BC coast last summer. AG100, 40k rears, Holland 5th wheel on air slides. Even included the driveshaft to the front diff. Guy even threw in a pair of KW fuel tank brackets so I can put dual tanks on it. 20150725_130205.jpg

Those fuel tank holders are expensive!!! I wanted to replace mine at one point until I found out how much.

I'm thinking we need one of those plastic green house setups and a torpedo heater so we can get this rolling along instead of waiting for spring.

I'm counting down the days already. By next fall I'd like to have a complete, painted, rolling chassis for sure. Possibly repair and primer the cab.

Just too bad the housings are finished. They looked alright until I took the steam cleaner to them. 20150821_165303.jpg
Housings have a couple holes in the back. Was thinking about getting the rear covers off my old SSHD's welded on but I think I'm better off finding a set of SSHD housings and swap internals. The whole shebang was less than a grand so I still think I did ok, considering I got a sliding 5th wheel, good crossmembers and a complete suspension.
