A driver was up from Savannah having a Qualcomm put in. Looked pretty slick. No shifter of any kind, just buttons on the dash.
Saw an automatic Mack today.

Like this?
When I worked in the oilfields we had Mack day cabs. I always thought they were decent trucks, looked like tanks but had a smooth ride. Now that I think about it, I really liked them trucks.

You are mixing up Volvo Cars with Volvo Trucks.
The Swedes sold Volvo Cars to Geely and kept Volvo Trucks.
Used the money the Chinese gave to build up the Trucks ,bought Renault Trucks from the French (French kept Renault Cars )and got Mack as a bonus(Mack was allready owned by Renault Trucks)scottlav46 Thanks this. -

Hated my 2014 day cab Seat was too short for anyone over 5'11 turning radius, steering wheel, and the ride over all meeh. Didn't mind the auto although it did lag on me a little. It. But I thought the Volvo trucks were more dialed in than the Mack in that department.
