Saw this at Flying J, not sure how it happened.

    What has occurred here is a failure to set brakes. Rig rolled backwards and jackknifed. I once knew a guy did the same thing at the old L & R truckstop in Dandridge Tennessee.

    No, He folded the truck in half so it neatly fit on the shoulder and took less room to take his 30 min naptime

    Looks more like it rolled forward and surge pushed it into a jackknife.

    It woulda have had to have been close to a jack knife already before that would happen.

    Thats my guess... i saw a driver with a trailer full of hay. when he was about to the truckstop door it started rolling. it stopped from the jack knife.... made a unique sound, crunching up the sleeper. i didn't see him inside and when i was done playing butt trumpet in the thunder studio, he was gone
