Do KLLM lease drivers get any fuel discounts at truck stops and terminals?

    update time
    _____________

stuck in Maryland in a hotel while the truck is in the freightliner shop getting looked at. Lately it has been losing alot of power but today my fuel mileage went in the TOILET. Like from 6.5 to 3.9!

I have been trying to get it to the Jackson yard for a couple weeks now, but seems like each time, its right when a really good load becomes available. My Cruise Control has been sticking so I either dont use it, or I use it at 70 mph. Which is really inefficient. AND annoying.

My APU needs service (which is covered under the 30 day lease guarantee, I just havent been back to the yard since. lol.

So I think my turbo unit is going out, (I just hope it doesnt take TO LONG to fix)

Anyways, got a few trips going to CALI, then to Delaware, got out of the hole last week from all my hometime (amazing how a cute girl can affect how much time you end up taking!!), made only $300 last week due to getting out of the hole, but made $2100 today! (yes AFTER paying for fuel, truck, insurance, etc.)

Looks like this week will be a little lean (depends on how long FreightLiner has my truck.

Picked up my puppy in Denver two weeks ago.... He has REALLY adjusted amazingly to the truck. (though he is LOVING this hotel room tonight)

Kinda thinking about the SE Regional thing... but I think I will stay OTR for the remainder of the year.

Will try to figure out how to upload pics to this site so you can see the truck, the puppy, and my ugly mug!

    ___________
    end update

Romans: re the cruise control problem. Try this:find the disconnect that connects the buttons on the shifter. You should be able to unplug it. Then see if this clears your cruise control problem. If it does you will need to replace that switch set.
If it does not fix then the problem is the switch in the panel.
Most likely one of the two resume/set switches is bad.( common for freightliner) sounds like one of the switches is shorted out.
I do NOT reccomend attemping to take apart the panel to get at the switch on the dash as going into the dash is a major undertaking(at least for me) I've tried once and had to get the shop to put back together.
