Smart man paying it off quicker. Those little bits of extra money towards principal really add up.

So a 2015 T680 with 250k and full warranty to 500k? For 75k? Especially if you have logged 20 or 25,000 miles with no major problems, id buy it outright and get on down the road to more profitable waters.

You can run the wheels off it for atleast 2.5 more years and trade up from there.

Yeah I'm sure I will. I knew the pay was low if not the lowest for owner operators but I was used to 30cpm in a governed truck with no inverter/APU and absolutely no freedom. I just couldn't handle it anymore so jumped in. Haven't drown yet nor have I lost money but the future doesn't look bright here.

Yeah you seem like a good sort. You'll end up fine. Just always remember to try to see things from the other persons perspective. "What is he/she/it getting out of this?" is probably the most important question in business. Not because you want to take advantage of people, but because if you can't answer the question SOMEONE IS getting screwed. Might be you, and it might be them...

Yeah. It also has an APU that actually works too so that is a good addition.

Where would I get financing for it elsewhere?

I use my local small town bank. I try and stay away from the big corporate banks that ask tons of silly questions and want your entire life story since birth.

Be prepared to show all your numbers and let them know why you want to do what your doing. If your business plan is strong and you have a good bank, shouldn't be a problem.

Sounds like a really nice truck. I'd buy it for sure. I bought 3 680's with same mileage 1.5 years ago for 82k a piece. They are 2014's. So really similar to what your doing only you have a better price.

Nice. Well there is also the fact that this t680 is the base model with none of the bells and whistles like the nice radio and swivel seat, just a bare t680. You probably bought the better ones.
