    the scale ticket does have the trailer number so if you do a reweigh with a new trailer the reweigh ticket will still have the OLD trailer number on it..

    Since we're on the subject, you can get a weigh at furniture movers warehouses and scrap yards or some farm co-ops. Usually not a certified weigh, but who cares. It comes in handy for when you load in the boonies and the nearest scale is 100 mi back the other way.

    Yes, Shippers often have the nearest scale posted near the shipping window. It might not always be a cat scale.
