Thank you for that link. I didn't realize it was that pervasive & Machiavellian. That's some scary stuff right there.

Thats not exactly true. I was west bound on 40 at the new super coop the scale closed in the left lane at 2am pacing a swifty to hide even better after the right lane flashed I was all smiles for 3 seconds then left lane flashed.rabbiporkchop, tucker, kwswan and 1 other person Thank this.

I think you're right on that. Not only that, where the technology is enforced at scale crossings, you're required to get into and remain in the right lane (by sign notification) for quite some distance before you approach the crossing as well until you pass it.wore out Thanks this.

Maybe they got wise to it or swifty triggered it so it was to get his trailer plate. I've done it twice and no flash.
-
Don't worry about all the technology. We can always wipe it.
ramblingman and otherhalftw Thank this. -
The Boise, ID scale also was able to show me a pretty picture of my truck to prove I was there the previous week.... including the weight scaled.
Why bother with elogs?bzinger Thanks this. -
Scooter, for my own edification, was that Aurora southbound?
-
Yes, but in what way does that edify you?

That fancy scale Oklahoma built on 35 at the kans /ok line takes your pic also .

Florida.
Fla knows yours width, length, height and gross weight before you ever pull up on the scale. Plus if your brakes are hot, fluids leaking, along with pictures of course.
And Fla does have ground scales and camera systems on back roads. They send over weight tickets in the mail.
HurstBig_D409 and TaylorMade407 Thank this.
