Maybe I'm confused.
I was thinking you were saying it's ok to ignore PrePass giving you a red light. Because the scalemaster might be busy or whatever when the scale sign says it was closed.

And this is the truth. It is up to the operators. Some of these scalemasters are idiots.

If you like playing russian roulette. If you blow by a scale with PrePass giving you a red light the next scale you come to will know about it. They won't know the scalemaster forgot to turn off PrePass and went home, or is busy chasing down someone that blew the scale. All they know is what PrePass is telling them happened.
Maybe They have PrePass setup to "not really care", how can you tell that from the red or green light it's giving you? Wait till you guess wrong and you get the red light at every scale for the next 90 days... it's faster to just go in on red.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Man ole man has these stuff changed over the last few years. I just got finished reading some information on the prepass website and dang if my original opinion was wrong. I stand corrected and thank you!TripleSix Thanks this.

That's been less than 90 days ago. I haven't got a red since.
I agree they knew I blew it, but.....skellr Thanks this. -

I know your right lol. I won't blow a scale in ol Miss either. Didn't work out for me years ago

At one point the east bound I 20 Vicksburg scale has a fine schedule taped up to the window next to the driver counter. (blowing) that scale at that time was over a thousand dollar fine. Also speeding through the bypass lane was considered reckless driving. No idea what their doing today.
wore out Thanks this. -
That's real close to what it was in Iuka years and years ago. I signed the fine schedule lol

So " the little box trumps the sign," and people wonder why I hate all that electronic bull.
