We're talking about Cummins and CAT...not your car. Either way, damaging an ECM doesn't render a truck into scrap as you insinuated in your previous post. Furthermore, software doesn't damage ECMs regardless of whether it's a legitimate copy or not.
Tell me how Insite and/or ET can see that a hacked version of either software can be seen when connected to the ECM?
Semis have been known to burn down. There's 2 sitting at KW unless they've been towed off recently. i have pics of one from my last company. He just started loading. Cars have been known to burn down. Also. Been seeing one a month lately. You've never seen a red hot glowing dpf I'm guessing.
On-line with Cummins, Paccar, Detroit and they can see every time something was connected and the I.D. of the device.
