You can watch the truck rodeo videos.

Most of those trucks are Cat C18’s and large Cummins.

The one Cat C18 made over 2,800 hp but no one knows the torque.

Nicolas Gagnon has a very nice Peterbilt in those videos.

 

Iron knight is the fastest diesel truck and it uses a d13 straight six with 4 turbos . Maybe turning the v8 up to high breaks the crank?

 

Just looked it up. That Iron Knight is fast.

0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Be interesting to see how fast the rodeo trucks go bobtail when they compete with vipers, mustangs, corvettes while still weighing 10 tons.
