BTW what does any of this have to do with the original thread? The international hair pulling over trucks turned in to accusations of terrorism, wide reaching religious comment wit hints of bigotry. Who needs a soap opera?

 

It started with lack of sophistication on Pablos's part. If he is to start American-style trucking operation right into Putin's face - he needs to try harder. I believe he will put some lousy actors into shame when doing so

More then half of big rigs in Russia are US trucks. They import used trucks and there are KW and Internitional plants in Russia. Putin wanted to change laws to keep Euro-style trucks in Russia only, becouse they build COE clsass 8 trucks in Russia and EU trucks are more expencive then US trucks, but he got protests of truckers and he had to keep 20 m lenth limit.

Putin wants Russians purchase russian goods only, he is dump and he thinks it is good for economy. But as I remember internal cocurention is not so agressive lke with open market and as result going down quakity, like in 80-s in USSR.

He'd like to be a president of USSR, and he tries to build USSR. Fortunatly not succesfully.
