I actually use google maps to help for customer locations to find the entrance... is there a way to check on road restrictions with it as well?

Count yourself lucky a lot of those weight restricted road tickets are in the 10's of thousands of dollars.
I also can't see even the most anal company firing you for that , don't have a heart attack.

    NavigatorWife and Ultratowel Thank this.

Was it a ticket issued by a city cop? If so it is a municipal fine. Which means it will not show up on your MVR and there will be no points added to your license.

Next time don't take the back route. As far as your legal plan you will still be paying the fine plus the money for the lawyer.

Yeah I saw posts of people going over weight restricted bridges and fined over 10 grand.

It was a city cop. Not a state patrol dot inspector or anything like that. And yeah. Just stressed badly and about to break down mentally. This is my first driving job since I got license in February and I’ve only been without my trainer for like 4 weeks.

If you trace the blue line and go down the road, you'll potentially see signs. The best thing to do is check your atlas. I also will tell any driver to stay on the roads that are interstates, state highways or U.S. highways. Most are truck routes and the atlas will tell you if it isn't. If you have a phone number to the customer, call them. Most of the time, there is someone that knows the best way for a truck to get in.

i would highly suggest, that you go and buy a male chastity belt, and lock it up tight. that way when you go see the safety director to explain this, he cannot "cut off your privates"...

My option was try and reverse nearly two
Miles or turn right and potentially leave the trailer in a ditch. Very sharp and tight turn. Or go straight less than one mile to the customer...
