I have seen Garmin glitches too. I reported 3 and they let me know they fixed all of them. I think they put someone on the road to see.

Calm down. In my opinion, not that big of a deal. Except when you go over a weight restricted bridge and crush it. That's bad, bad ju ju there, driver .
Also, look where it's going....Clorox. Every trailer in and out gross 75k+. The city and the cops know it, so they just wait for guys like you to come along....something akin to a speed trap. Trust me, if your company does very much business there, you ain't the first.

    You'll be fine.

You would think a sign would be posted at the beginning of the road about truck weights. Seems like the proper thing to do.

There was a sign but it was only a mile away and I was short on time. I also noticed in my messages for driver instructions on getting there it specifically says to avoid the route I took as you will be risking a ticket if you go that way and it warns multiple times to not use your gps.... so I’m definitely not the first to fall prey to this as these instructions are usually written by other drivers from the company... but given my situation I’m just scared as hell I’m gonna lose my job and I’m literally shaking in my bunk right now and I can’t control it... almost like when your teeth start chattering from the cold...

its a lesson Ultra. now you have a story for your future trainees. put a copy of that ticket and the copy that says "Paid" in your truck somewhere and you will never do it again. hopefully..... ;)

Now let me add to that sweat a minute and lets play a game of what if. What if you had encountered a bridge only 10 feet off the ground? You would have had to have put your 4 ways on and backed out of there. Hand, I know you feel bad and I am not trying to bust your balls. However as a trucker you MUST learn to NEVER EVER depend on a GPS unit like this. Not even a so called truckers GPS. Think about my what if for a minute. Hand, this kind of crap happens all the time.
