Sorry about the ticket. I hate those weight restricted roads. Sometimes I dont see the sign until its too late.

The legal folks you have will take care of it. I had US legal at my first gig and they did a great job on a ticket I got in Calif

Well, you’re like 70,000lb over gross, so you’ll want to fight the ticket. Over axle isn’t points. Over gross also isn’t points. It IS a #### ton of psp and csa points though. Fight the ticket. You’ll get it knocked down. For future reference... any over axle ticket, just pay the fine and be done with it. Over gross, you need to fight it. At the very least get it knocked down about 50-60k pounds.

Here's a little tip , next time you can't get it figured out on your own call the cops.
Yes that's right , the cops
I've done this twice , first time I got hung up in a construction lame coming of the GW bridge and wound up taking an exit I didn't want to but had to , lol.
So I broke out my atlas and my laptop which has PCMILER on it and after about 30 minutes I gave up .
Not only could not find a truck route out the best I could see was going to take me an enormous amount of miles out of route.
Not only that there was an unmarked bridge half mile in front of me.
So I called the cops and they had a car out there in less than ten minutes.
He showed up off a side street just before that bridge signaling with his spot light.
So I follow him , he goes center lane under the bridge and takes me on to the truck route and gets me back to where I need to be in less than 10 miles.
He stops on the on ramp and gets out of his car and shakes my hand and says " Thank you for calling"
This was on the Jersey side ( west end ) by the way.
It can happen to anyone this was just couple years ago ,so I'm in a about 26yrs at the time.

Does anyone know if a violation like this will add points to my license or affect my csa? Also the fine says 750 minimum and that I have to go to court. Which my drivers legal plan will for me so yeah. Hopefully they can get it reduced and that minimum doesn’t mean it will end up being higher....

Your CSA, yes, if it is reported. If it is the local cop that gave you the ticket more than likely they just want your money and will tear up the ticket. You have that pre-paid legal right? They should be able to handle it. The way it normally works is your attorney will plea to a lesser offense, like faulty equipment or something along those lines, there will be court costs and you will still pay a fine, they will tear up the ticket and nothing should appear anywhere like it never happened.

    It was a normal
Police officer so there was no inspection and it’s a weight ticket. I thought the two don’t affect csa?

Not always, depends on how far it goes and who wrote the ticket. If it was the state weigh master, that could get you into the CSA area, local cop, they just want the money. They made that a 5,000 lb road for just such occasions. I bet that cop writes those tickets daily.
