Friend worked for Pumpkin for around 9mo's. Promised ded Sears run, got in truck and then said no openings. Told would run west reg , ended up running sw to mw. Kept asking about ded run and was told idle to high or speed avg to high- getting home was a hassle too. Always had to do the milk run to get home- Truck they gave him was a high miles junker with issue after issue so he said see ya.

They have a terminal in Gary, so your home time should be spot on.

I just got the ok fro big orange myself. I am running a regional out of nashville home every weekend with pay at .35cpm with 1 year under the belt. Doesn't sound bad or good but lucky for me I get an AWESOME FREIGHTSHAKER. Could have went with usxpress but I didn't.

I get home every time I request it within 24 hours of my requested home time. I requested home time for tomorrow thru saturday, I am sitting at home tight now relaxing.

I think it is more of a dispatcher issue, mine always works with me, and gets me where I need to go, I have talked to other drivers that complain they don't get home time, but they are never out of my OC.

Of course, they could just be complaining to complain.

Keep us updated on how the regional Nashville deal is. I live down around Mobile AL and have been looking for information on the Nashville regional. Not much out there though. I'm looking to make a move soon.

yeah actually found the listing on craigslist, contacted the recruiter neal at 615-318-9463, told me that i would be at about 500 mi of nashville, and be home every weekend, its not dedicated accounts, but at least i know ill be close, the only thing they want me to do is park the truck at terminals in Chattanooga or Bham, and i am inbetween the 50 mi radius of both of those so i should be able to take the truck home as long as its in a safe location. Yeah ill keep you up to date on this, give them a call, something good may be in it for you.
