Cement or frac?
I'm almost positive you will start off as a temp, pretty sure its a company wide policy, it was that way in strasburg Ohio, horseheads N.Y., Denton tx and Williston nd.
2nd the "driving only position" sounds like a farce. Big blue loves using 3rd party logistics instead of their own drivers. How do I know that? I worked for a 3rd party company for 2 years doing schlumberger work. They hate using their drivers. I've moved pumps, blenders, missiles and sand kings. But I mostly was on the cement side of things running pneumatics and loading silo's for the cement crew. Moved silos around, did everything but pump the job.
3rd I find it very hard to believe 38$hr just no way. Not when they start out full time (not the temp thing) around 16-17hr in the Ohio and Ny yard.
Any other questions ask away ill give you all the knowledge I have. Be ready for 90-100hr weeks to be the norm. And pack plenty of food and your fav drinks (they have water by the pallet don't worry about that.
Anyone goofy ######## can be a frac rat, if your smart and ambitious you will move up the ranks in no time in cement. Get on the cement pump and you can write your own ticket.
Other than rigging up and down frac isn't real stressful. -
Eclipse Breaks Record Again – New Longest Shale Well in World!
I worked for a small 3rd party carrier all we did was schlumberger. Fly by night company. If you wanted to blow lines of crank and work 48+ hours they were happy. Most companies would be "your short on hours why don't head back to yard" here it was "you got another one in you" after already being up 36 hours lol. Logbook, haha what's that, never even had one in the truck most of the time. The safety guy (ex sherrif) would make mine up for cya. I had no clue till logbook lady told me I needed to write more legible.........huh what you talking bout WillisLast edited: Jul 5, 2018
