"TheYoungBuck" they'll email your offer letter with a start date, sign it send it back and make sure you call to make sure they got it. Then you'll get a date for a UA and a physical before any training.

if your living in lacombe, try sending a resume to trican. worked with a crew from red deer a couple days ago and was told they are screaming for bulk haulers (cement). hear it's 90% field work and will gain valuable driving experience. also a lot of room for advancement.

worked at clean harbors = gong show, unless you can find the right base to work out of. ft mac, ft mckay, lloydminster, conklin are not the right bases to advance up the ladder.

since i cannot say what i want to on here about downtons, just give rocky a good slap upside the head for me....

    Ive received my offer letter.

Its not quite what I expected. In my interview with the recruiter, they asked if I was willing to relocate. With my step children, I said that at this time Im not looking at relocation.

So they offered me a position in Medicine Hat. Im located in Red Deer area.

Ive talked it over with my wife, and we are both not sure on what to think. Ive got a few days to think, but Im gonna call the recruiter and have a chat with them first.

Well I start with SLB on march 21. After talking with the recruiter, he was able to get me hooked up with the RD frac manager.

Had a quick interview, accepted offer letter on the spot, and passed my physical/piss test.

Congrats on the new job. Is it usual for service companies to hire this time of year? I'm interested in getting involved in oil/gas through this kind of work but have been told I'm out of luck until June. Only have class 5 license.
