You are correct. I forgot about the background check. I did that also. It took a few weeks for the background check to clear.

I lived 54 miles away when I was with Bulk. Parked at the Dallas OC. I doubt they would have a problem with it. Contact your DBL. If they do have a problem then it's company switch time. Besides do you really want to be going to Cory all that often?

    No! Hehe...

I don't see why it even matters what one's home OC is when driving OTR. I've been through Savannah only twice since I started.

If you do 6 more months you can apply for Trimac's Elite Team. We have a terminal in Bristol, PA. They would probably hire you.

home OC wouldn't matter, but the bigger issue would probably be parking in a location where there is no chemical freight or tank wash. i don't recall ever picking up any loads near carlisle. i did deliver to a paper mill not too far from there, but that was it.

Same thing happened to someone in the class after mine. Better it happen on the balance beam than on top of a trailer. Tough break.

I'm in the state college area, there are several smaller trucking companies here that seem to be good to their drivers. Depends how hard you want to work and what experience you have. I would definitely say there is work here though.
