Schneider veteran here....
My latest gig: hauling fuel (hazmat tanker -- but NOT with Schneider).
You may well be able to do better--especially money-wise.
Tell us more about yourself:
- What city/state is closest to you?
- Clean driving/criminal history?
- What type(s) of freight interest you the most?
- Do you have any CDL-type experience from the military? Are you ex-military?
- Can you do OTR...or regional duty?
- Can you pass a drug screen?
- Can you pass a DOT physical?
- Are you currently otherwise employed?
gentleroger Thanks this. -
My experience was this:
If you know how to drive and are welcome to instruction, you'll be just fine.
@gentleroger will be able to answer most of your questions, as he is a trainer.
As far as the company goes, they're pretty ok. If you do your job, deliver on time, and don't hit anything, you'll be just fine.
I was with them for around 12 years and I don't regret it a bit.
Nice people. Real nice people.
Good luckBennysPennys, Puppage and gentleroger Thank this. -
