Feeble insults won't get you any sympathy around here. Maybe you should go to heartland express, get that shiny 52 CPM pay rate, and then struggle to break 1800 miles a week and sit around all day waiting.

I actually applied last year but had to wait 6 months for some log violations to drop off my record (qualcomm broke and kept me on duty and driving for a week, did paper logs but schneider didn't like how they didn't match up perfectly to what the qualcomm was telling them). They dropped off in December but I decided to go gold dredging all summer instead and put choice on hold. Gold dredging didn't work out so I'll drive as a company driver for another year or so to save up some cash before going choice.

You think Oregon was a bad place to be freight wise? I now technically live in the Reno NV area. Lucky for me I'm not strapped down to anything and practically live out of my truck. If I go choice I'll be going anywhere the money is. Getting back to NV is not a priority, and I'll probably be back in OR before then. Maybe even somewhere new.

    I think I would rather do 1800 at .52 than 3000 at .30.

    Feeble insults. ?

if you are working for a company and only making 37 CPM after 4 years of service says something about your ability to seek out a better living.

You called him an idiot right here when you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Plus he's making 37cpm, so nice bait and switch with the 30cpm figure

Never referred to the gentleman as an idiot .

Maybe just not as ambitious about making a better living as I or some others might be.

"Work smart not hard", that is a difficult Phrase to refer to in trucking.

    1800 x .52 = $936
    3000 x .37 = $1110

There's nothing smart about siting around in a truck stop hours on end twiddling your thumbs waiting for appointments just to say you "worked less"
