Well, I'm officially pissed off. I was scheduled to be back on Monday and have Tuesday and Wednesday off. I ended up having to sit from Friday to Monday for a load headed north to the Portland OC. The load goes up to Kent Washington, 160 miles north of the Portland OC. I didn't have to deliver the load until 10:00 today. I stopped in the Portland yard last night and spent the night at home. I figured that after delivering the load this morning I would most likely be deadheading back down to the Portland OC. But no, I have to dead head 182 miles to grandview Washington, pick up a Walmart load tomorrow morning, and make 2 seperate stops. One in happy valley Oregon (Portland area) and the second in Springfield Oregon (approximately 100 miles south of Portland). This is some BS!

I guess if someone doesn't want to be on the road, they shouldn't be a trucker. Just sayin'

No.....you got me all wrong Village Idiot. I drove a truck 15 years ago. Last year I got back from being overseas on a 10 month "boots on ground" deployment. In a couple months I leave again. So don't tell me about deadbeat dads! By the way I have a 7 week old daughter. The only reason I am on here is because I miss driving a truck and would like to drive again, possibly next year. This forum is just one way of doing research to find the best companies, types of freight and so on. No hard feelings and have a safe trip.:pottytrain2::salute:

So I guess shouldn't be a trucker because Im angry that I'm late on pre-scheduled home time that I made clear was important because I have #### to do such as taxes, car insurance policy, dmv registration, and loan refinancing.............. Yea, I guess a real trucker would say #### it to all of that and keep on driving right?
