I went to a Schneider oreintation here locally back in 1993 at a hotel, i regret not going into that industry, i fell like they seem to be a very good company not only to start with but continue career for a Mega Carrier. I have no doubt i chose the right company.

Most of the Schneider drivers I run into are 7+ years with them. A lot have been here much longer. That tells me something.

I was running a tanker out of Woodhaven. Running a tank is a blast. Hopefully you get Rod as your TE. Awesome trainer and he's local so you'd be home every night.

For drivers who are just starting w/tanker, if you're afraid of heights you have to get around that. You'll be up on top of that tank just about every day, walking on a thin and many times beat up catwalk. My suggestion is to KEEP LOW when you're just getting started and don't be afraid to crouch down and grab the catwalk when you turn around just until you get used to it. Schneider has seen their share of drivers who fall off of those things.
