I understand this and admitted I don't 100% follow the rule......few truckers do because you would burn your clock up. You said that Roadie was wrong and misinformed. It turns out you are misinformed and wrong. It can be logged however the driver wants to log it, and even pass DOT audits. Just because one or many choose to do something in a different manner does not change the meaning of the law.

Really think you should move this to another board where you'll find a bunch different responses. If every driver followed the rules to a T we would b broke and milk would b $10 a gallon. Schneider already has a form we signed when we did orientation saying where relieved from duty for meals and other crud. Can't remember full thing it was so long ago. Also stop arguing about do the logs the way you feel fit. When your 70 runs out 3days from don't cry to us asking why. My last thought on this subject.

Hmmmm....read my post again. Seems many, many drivers here on TTR have a lack of reading and comprehension skills...hence all the troubles/misunderstandings in thier careers. I got out of the truck driving rat race 2 years ago. My logbooks nowadays are all on line 4, barely drive 600 miles/month and I keep getting paid way over 70.....intelligent move on my part. You also missed the point of my posts. You can log however you want to, just don't flat out tell somebody they are wrong when they are not. This will be my last INTELLIGENT thought on this subject.

And trust me, I would never run to an online forum asking truckers for advice. I find answers myself, its a responsibility thing......came with my big boy pants.

Can someone help me translate this please. I got the gist of it, I'm just not familiar with all the terminology yet.

"Lumpers 4 GA PAC LDS R $130. P&G LDS TAILGATE ONLY. No lumpers or driver brkdown on P&G. P&G must use manual jck or B CERT 2 USE ELECTRIC PLT JCK. P&G NO LUMPERS AUTH. CG. DHU fac lumpers avail. $PENALTY FOR LATE DEL. $PENALTY FOR EARLY DEL."

Ok so do I have to show up right on the dot for my delivery time? Also, can anyone tell me by reading this if I have to call the lumper line to get a check authorized? Thanks in advance.

Call for a lumper unless you feel like unloading it yourself with a manual pallet jack. Show up as close to your appointment as possible. I would say aim for no more than 30 minutes early. Don't be late or you will sit until they reschedule.

Anybody know what the unloading pay is? It's a slow week so boss man asked for volunteers to do a Family Dollar run.

Might wanna get it in writing how long you'll be on the FD account if you help out. I've heard its like the Olney Walmart black hole. If you can escape from it, it takes much longer than you planned.

The FD and DG accounts are where careers go to die. Either you'll get hurt or you'll hit something. I'll turn it down.
