As stated in the past by other drivers these lumpers suck! If they had any brains they'd put two and two together. Let's see, the faster I unload the more trucks I could get in. The more trucks I get in the more money I can make. Unless they get paid by the hour that would be my logic. Ok, rant over. You all have a good day and drive safe!

And as stated before it's the receiver that slows the process down. Lumper gets paid cash for the each truck so they won't to move as much product as possible

Not the lumpers where I am. They took a cigarette break every half hour. Plus when they weren't smoking they made one trip in the trailer every 20 minutes. 6 hours later I'm still here and they're outside smoking.

Most likely they have to break each pallet down as they unload them.

Same thing happened to me this morning, but it only took 3 hours.

    No pallets. 150 looses boxes.

You know what's funny? After 8 hours I asked how much longer. Dude told me about an hour and a half. I bluffed him and told him if that was the case I wasn't going to be able to move my truck for 10 hours. 15 minutes later I was handed my paperwork.
