Couldn't agree more! I've gotten more respect from the facilities I load and unload my tank at than I ever did hauling cars or dry van.

 

I really dislike going to grocery warehouses

 

I give up. I absolutely give up.

This *censored* truck sat since monday morning waiting for a service.I took4 days off. These bags of crap pull it in 30 minutes before I get there this morning and find something that maybe bad and put the truck out of service. I spend 4 hours waiting for one guy to walk his *censored* 200 feet from his office to stick his finger in the radiator to see if there is indeed fuel in the coolant and to make an "executive" decision.

They finally put me in a spare truck. The only truck that is unassigned and empty, well except for the mud and sunflower seeds spit all over the inside. The batteries are so dead, the thing won't even crank.

not a problem, Ill have the shop jump it............the only vehicle capable of jumping is out running errands. 2 hours later it shows up and jumps the truck, but now this truck has to go into the shop and get the batteries checked......so I sit for 4 hours looking at my old truck that is still sitting there with nobody touching it, while in a broken new truck with nobody willing to hook up a battery tester and push a button and walk away and let it do its thing.

Its always easy to pick out the guys who get paid by the hour. I bet if they started getting paid by trucks they get in and out you'd have your truck back now!

This shop goes through mechanics like the OC goes through Drivers. The new truck finally got done after it almost caught fire in the service bay. got 4 new batteries and cables and now after 12 hours, Im done and going to bed.
