Last tank, I averaged 7.8 mpg. Very little idling, and most of my loads were under 20k. Unusual for me - the majority of my loads are over 40k and across the Allegheny or Appalachian mountains... I usually average in the 6.5 - 6.8 mpg range. Hauling 43k right now on relatively flat land through AL & GA, & my truck says 6.7.

    Company driver, 12 Cascadia.

I think so I was top 5 for bonus top 10 for milage for last quarter. I got this truck first week of June and I'm already at 129k should hit 135-140k for the year. Don't layover always running. Been here 3.5 years still happy. And I'm no rookie a veteran driver that chose Schneider.

yea I worked at schneider in 2009...not a bad bunch....they have just become very strict over the years. ..im not a stric rule follower and I don't want to get my contract terminated...so I just stay away....but if I was to ever leave qc I would look hard at schneider

Mondays ironic run. Pick up loaded trailer of tires with a trailer flat at a tire shipping warehouse. Thats repaired by the same company's road service I'm hauling for.

That is indeed ironic. Going to be heading back to work tomorrow (finally got all of my medical return to work clearance paperwork processed today). The truck I will be getting starts with 36***. My last truck, before going on medical leave, also started with 36*** and it was a Columbia glider. I wonder if this truck is a glider too? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks. Based on what I've read on here it seems like most Schneider drivers who have a glider love it and don't want to give it up.
