Problem with MPG as a bonus criteria is there are so many variables that go into it. Shop to cheap to correctly diagnose and repair EGR/DPF issues? Driver gets crap mileage, not his fault. What about drivers that run around in the northeast all the time sitting in traffic starting and stopping on hills, compared to the drivers in the midwest cruising around on flat ground? What about different truck setups, like comparing the Centuries/Columbias to the Cascadias, and what about the new ones running the autos and the tag axles?

Will be interesting to see how they set that one up.

    mickimause Thanks this.

Though I am not a fan of a previous carrier I worked for, I did like the way the milage bonus was calculated. They actually had set goals depending on what type of truck you drove. If you had a Mack it was one set, Volvo another, etc. They acknowledge that not all trucks are created equal.

What about us guys who have a truck without a ParkSmart system vs. those who do? I will not sit and stew in my own sweat in my living area. This has been my 1 big contention with SNI is their disregard for driver comfort. I am continuously hounded for idle time. My truck won't idle until it's 80degrees outside. When it's 80 degrees outside, then it's most likely well over 90 in the truck unless it's idling.

I had a white century, shut down on a 45 degree day at the tail end of winter. Sunny. Warm enough inside to need to open the windows to cool off. On an account that ran nights and shut down 1200-1500. set of underperforming batts too.

You are right, that should be a big contention with them. It's not asking too much to be comfortable.
