Discussed it with the boss and was told to just bring it to Obetz to get repaired. She knew the loaders probably did it but there was really no way to prove it. -

Sucks to see that the forklift operator didn't man up and admit his mistake. Same with these guys that ram forks all the way through the sides of our trailers, pisses me off.

Ticks me off when a trailer is brought back, driver knows it has defects, and they leave it for the next driver, rather than write it up, red tag it and let me know so I can get the repair taken care of.

Been reading the posts on here and learning tons! My son and I just accepted a position with Schneider and leave for orientation in California the end of the month. It was important that we teamed together. I was deployed 7 of 11 years with the Army and when I got back he was in the Marines.
We took a position running what I was told would be "high dollar, sensitive" cross country loads out of California at 35 cpm to start and we should average 5500-6000 miles per week. My questions are as follows....
Is this accurate or just what a recruiter is telling us to get us hired? Is there anything special we should know? I think there shouldn't be any reason we can't exceed whatever goals are in place. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! -
warhippy and EggoTrucker Thank this.
