Also need to note you will not always earn that % of $59 in miles each day. Something to consider. Some days will be absolute crap not to mention the sitting on a 34 or waiting for a load period.

You guys are only getting 14.5 cent for per diem how odd

The only time I delivered to that P&G was over 3 years ago when I started. I had to deliver there on the day I was headed there. I-15 was shut down for 3 hours so by the time I got there I had like 45 minutes on my 14. The yard dog told me to "park at the walmart" when I was leaving. Get to the walmart and there is like 500,000 no overnight parking signs everywhere LOL. Seriously I've never seen so many "no truck parking" signs before. So I drove around back by the auto service area and there were like 4 or 5 trucks parked back there. I just squeezed in between 2 of them, shut down, and walked into the store to become a paying customer. I then got back out and sat in my truck for about 30 minutes watching the security guard that was hanging out behind the store. You could see the dirty look on his face but he didn't do ####. I just closed my curtains and went to sleep.scythe08 Thanks this.

It's easy to make money on paper, what you have in your pocket is what counts
-
I know everybody's making millions owning a truck
-
Actually the paper work backs up the checking and savings accounts very nicely. Making money as an O/O or L/P is very simple, step one is to loose the ego, step two is to manage your money and time like a business.
Once you do those, you cannot help but to be profitable.
Says the man who is turning a profit, even with a leased truck.scythe08 and mickimause Thank this. -
so what's your ROI?
-
Current 3 month ago is 8.5% profit. I estimate that it will increase to 36% once I buy a truck.
-
That's not ROI that's P/L
-
currently have $21.63 in my pocket......savings account I started when I started doing this exactly 1 year ago, $26,400 (which, is technically on paper....I guess).....checking account roughly $100 (again, technically on paper)mickimause and 48Packard Thank this.
