Bolingbrook IL to just outside of Carlisle, I'm going up and around and PA turnpike across so I'm good
That is what I thought. It turns out that the FSC is $.05 per mile LESS on bulk than on the van side. WhenI asked my DBL about this and why they dont voulenteer the weekley FSC I received no response. Gettong a little pissed!
From what TennMan said, don't look like it's SNI's fault.......gub'ment got it handled. You can google the weekly FSC
The govt. does not set the FSC. They only state the national avg. of fuel. SNI sets the FSC for the fleet (s). What burns me is the lack of communication from SNI.
10-4 on that, bro......you could say the same on about 100 other things. Did you see the new video where the dude from the west coast got all pissed off that he even had to talk about communication? Man.....I wouldn't have put that out, personally.......jus' me, but I'm sensitive that way
The Department of Energy sets the average cost of diesel and then that it divided by the fleet mpg to come up with the FSC.
When I ran reefer, I would get different FSC quotes depending on who I was hauling from. I have never heard that government sets the FSC. I can only speak from personal experience. Just thought that I would put that out there. Not to be argumentitive, but to convey my own personal experiences with FSC.
