I've talked to everyone in regulatory, everyone of them tell me the same old ####. I'm tired of trying to explain the difference in how e-logs and paper logs work to the idiots who are supposed to be managing that stuff. I had to hang up the phone as I was about to start yelling very naughty things to them. I'm done with talking to idiots who have no idea what there talking about, yet they I'm the idiot because I'm a truck driver. ####'em

With that said, I'm 1 hos violation over the maximum allowed to move to choice. I have 5 hos violations in the 3.5 days my qc was down, which regulatory refuses to help me with. Choice program is out of the question. I'm a bit sick of being a company driver so I'll be putting my 2 week notice in and I'll probably end up driving tow trucks, or heavy hauling again.

Actually I'll probably stay as a company driver, every time I start looking for different work I realize how much I hate doing anything other then driving a truck, and I've got no complaints driving as a company driver for schneider... except for regulatory.... regulatory can bite me.

I'll just continue to save up $ and wait until the #### drops off my record.

choice 'c'....take a deep breath, know what you want to say, speak it in a clear and convincing voice, and ask what you can do to clear this up.

Oh, and hope like heck you get the right person.....hey, sometimes you do.

My experience is that one needs to understand the relationship between the bug and the windshield and one's place in that metaphor.

After that, it's all down hill.......

Yeah man that's some frustrating crap. Sounds like you just keep getting stuck dealing with the wrong person 'cause anyone with a brain can see how that time difference could show up in paper vs. elogs.

Lol, I've actually spoken to probably everyone in regulatory, multiple times, for several weeks now. Trying to deal with them any longer will result in me doing or saying something that will negatively effect me in one way or another. I'm just gonna take this stress off my head and wait until those logs are no longer required to be kept on file (6 months). I'll re-attempt to get on choice in January. I'll be fully moved from Oregon to Washington by then and it will be the beginning of a new tax season. I'll save up some more money and may be able to purchase an older used truck outright rather then financing, I'll see how that goes when the time gets closer.

Sigh. 266 paid miles run (roundtrip). Load ready time 0700. Appt time 0800. Ummmm hello? Made this anomaly known yesterday afternoon. Apparently nothing was done by somebody. Doesnt matter though, as of 0515 they hadnt even started to load it anyway. Normally that appt time has load ready at 0300.
Support tells me to hang tight til....... yeah. Ok. I'll do just that. Now at home waiting another couple hours til dbl gets in at Dekalb Il.

Load for tomorrow. Ferndale Michigan. Basically I75 and 9 mile Rd. Currently MOST major routes are under water as of now. F ME.

But my search for routing , closures and delays brought me to the web version of an app I use sometimes . I like it. Price is right too.

Yeah, looking at the weather channel earlier today, most of the major interstates in Detroit are under about 12' of water...and, as it was raining here, we elected to postpone our trip until tomorrow. Also, we were being lazy. :D

12 feet of water what's going on in Detroit? I'm a southerner and guess I don't even pay attention to weather that far north if I'm not heading there.
