Welp looks like Gary oc is prepping for every sni drivers nightmare. The walmart black Friday storage trailer mess.

 

Pretty soon its gonna be "open season" for empty trailers. Starts getting ugly this time of year.

 

They won't offer any bonuses over labor day weekend. That's been a dead freight time every year since I started.

 

after the last holiday, I said no more. I'll be at the house....plus, it's my birthday!!
but, no more holidays....seems like I spent 'em all in a truckstop some where....no more.

 

I'd like to remind all my fellow Pumpkins that 9-11 was a very important day in the History of our country. I was born at 11:11 on the night of 9-11 so I will be taking all gifts and donations starting 9-1 thru the end of the month.. Thanks in advance

As far as the J in Columbia...I park there for home time, and every time I come back there, I see the same people...usually sitting on the front wall by the diesel pumps, smoking cigarettes (...and watching Captain...KANG....Kangaroo...now don't tell meeeee...I've nothing to do.....)....

No booze with any donations I get I'm going to invest that money in poster board and sell it to all the future protesters for a small profit of course.

 

Had a new one today. Picked up a load in Joplin to relay Friday morning at Edwardsville.

My preassignment for Friday is to pick up the relay that I just dropped and make final delivery in Columbus.

If that's not weird enough my eta to drop the "relay" is 08:30. When the preassignment came out - several hours after leaving the shipper - it had a load ready time of 07:42. It currently has a ready time of 06:57 - despite my eta of 8:30. I'm going to update my drop eta and see how long it takes to update in the preassignment - if at all.
