Apparently that is a common problem with the detroit-powered w/ DEF Cascadias - it gets even worse up in the Northeast they have a lot of issues with corrosion on the wiring harnesses as well. Makes finding and diagnosing the problems an absolute nightmare and results in lots of chasing ghost issues

    "Drive it till it dies....."
Got some bad gas one time when I was fairly new......managed to limp it into a Pilot. Called SEM, told him the problem (but I didn't know it was the fuel, just that the truck derated so bad you could hardly drive it), he told me to drive it till it won't drive no more. I was like, 'are you serious? It barely made it up this hill!'. He said, yep

THAT, is insane.....just wrong, and unsafe. I guess I should have told him, "won't drive no mo', here boss".......f'ers

My DBL did say - when I was talking to him about it later - "If you don't feel safe driving it, park it. I will get higher ups involved and it will get taken care of."

Same kinda thing happened the very first load I had. I got it to the FL dealer; took me over an hour to make it the 30 miles...(injector issues).

I WAS starting to pucker a bit. it was coughing a tad the last 7 miles to fill up. Single 100 gal tank daycab. Fuel solution had me filling 40 gals near cambridge ohio. THEN immediately go and fill 137 gals at Hebron Ohio about 40 miles away. back to back.

I largely ignore solutions anyway. try to fill the TS closest to Obetz on return for next day running.

this filled at 90 gals. had 92 last week.

Well, interesting day today, got a load to pick up and stage a relay for another driver. My nat was set for 4am, magically, the preloaded trailer was supposedly ready at 4am (yeah right, I knew better from the start). Head over to miller in Milwaukee, inept guard proceeds to stumble around trying to figure out how to check me in for 20 minutes, finally figure out where to go, drop my empty, head over to the other building where shipping is, then have to pass through another security gate where more inept security guards fumble around for 15 minutes figuring out where I had to go. Finally make it to shipping and trailer isn't even in door yet, at least 2-3hrs before it would be ready.

Well, I have another relay stacked on me sitting at sturtevant that says its a live unload 300 miles away that has to be there by 1200. Receiving hours end after 1200 for live unloads. Proceed to call supportless shift and sit on hold for 30+ minutes before I finally made the executive decision to get the hell out of there and just take the next load so that wasn't late. 1st shift person wasn't too pleased lol. Ended up rolling into here at 1150 just in time and it turns out to be a 24/7 drop and hook lol.
