    Note to self:

When standing in a long, slow line, don't try to sneak out a belch, while listening to music from your headphones.

    Embarrassment will ensue.

@ 1.5 hours and counting at Lowes in Carlsbad , NM. All I need is a kingpin taken off the mt in the dock so I can pull it out and put my loaded on in. And get the bills that were faxed over because the previous driver took them home with him.

Deadbeat 400 miles to swap out a new trailer for an old one at a paper mill. Whats my replant for today? Go take this MT back to the paper mill and get the trailer I dropped yesterday that has been loaded. Uh no. Lol. Nothing at all in thos area. Seriously thinking about just telling them that Im going to start driving west and If I dont hear from them by the time I get to Prescott, I'll head south to Phoenix.

You know it works this way...

I have my CDL A, obviously. Haul a 53' trailer behind my Cascadia. Hubby says "No, you aren't going to pull the fifth wheel".

Two weeks ago, he cut too tight coming out of the house, hit a cedar tree and took out 2 windows on the camper, along with damaging the window frames and possibly the slide (although I dunno how he did THAT). He relented on Saturday & said I could haul it to the shop, since they weren't open on Sat. So, the first time I get to haul our 38' fifth wheel, it looks like crap, and like I can't pull a trailer. :( But *I* didn't come anywhere near that #### tree!

He's got the same rule I had with my toys growing up. My sister's could only play with them once I busted them up.

Can anyone here recommend a reliable make/model of conventional 84 inch sleeper truck for pulling dry van? (Used or new)

I've seen the Freightliner Classic XL 84". Just wondering if there any others out there.
    Thanks for your help!
