Hey, has anyone ever used DE 300, to get to Smyrna, De? I was headed to the Walmart DC.
-
I'm pretty sure I've taken that route before. It's been a while since I've been up there though. I know 300 leads right to the entrance of the DC. Looking at google maps I can't remember if I took 300 all the way or if I took 302 that turns into 11 once you cross into DE that then runs into 300. Whatever route I took I know Jill won't route you on it because there is a tiny obscure sign on of the bridges that has a weight limit of like 30 tons. That being said I have taken that route multiple times with no problem and will continue to do so. Sorry officer, I couldn't see the sign at 55 MPH that is the size of a box of cheeze-its.
-
FOUND IT!! You got me intrigued and so I took a Google Maps adventure looking at all the bridges along 300 until I found it LOL.
Yes, it is 300 that I took.
Check out the link, to go streetview if it doesn't link straight to it.

That tiny little bridge with that tiny little 30 ton weight limit is all that stands in your way.
As a law abiding citizen, I would NEVER, EVER cross that bridge with 38 tons of kitty litter from Ochlocknee GA... several times... of course not... *cough*
What's even better is that the sign I believe is just for straight trucks, not a combination vehicle like a tractor trailer. But it is enough to freak out Jill and she will tell you you're on a restricted route and refuse to route you there.mickimause, rickybobby and southtruck Thank this. -
