Figured out what the deal was/is. DC is having its roof replaced. Returns from the stores are unloaded near the area the roofers are currently working. SOMEONE thought it a good idea to have a pile of 3/8 in head bolts near the dock lane they use to unload said returns. I guess as the dock workers were coming out to open the doors for the jockeys to place the trailers, they were inadvertently OR on purpose kicking the bolts in the dock lane.

Stopped at the pilot at I-55 exit 18 in Illinois today. Pulled out of the truckstop and stopped at the red light. I get the green light to go straight, I start to move, but I look ahead and see a truck coming in the oncoming left turn lane. Well, like I said I saw it coming so I stopped, CR England driver just makes a left turn doing 15-20 mph without even thinking of stopping when I clearly had the right of way. I sit there with a smirk on my face as the trainer (I guess) sitting in the passenger seat shrugs his shoulders and I could read the "sorry" from his lips. So yeah, watch out for CR England.
g.o.a.l and BossOutlaw88 Thank this. -
Stevep1977, it's just not the trainees you have to worry about. Just a day ago, a driver from a non - training company tries to pass me while going down Fancy Gap mountain and didn't account for my weight in the trailer. Needless to say, he started going down so fast that he couldn't maintain his own lane and almost killed us both.

Had a CCR England glide into my grill on my 2014 evo. I was so po when I confronted him couldn't speak English it was some African language. His trainer was sleeping. Had no clue what was going on.

Lol just got off the phone with SEM about another tire blow out. I'd swear I talked to the same British guy that narrates those extremely boring CBTs.

What is their pay rate? I am a veteran, thinking about joining them after my military obligations. I am a rookie...here in America. But I 've had a European CDL since 1995. So I have to start from scratch. They have certain benefits in place for us vets, but still,I wonder how much can I make later after a year. Anybody got an answer?

Another great day! Ran all morning to be able to get loaded for a relay this afternoon. Clerk couldnt get my load to come up on her computer. So after three hours of the I cant call them have them call me game that shippers, brokers, and cs plays. finally somebody realizes the load isnt scheduled till 1700 tomorrow. So I get to sit at the flying j for 26 hours before I get my 100 mile run. Then I got a 130 mile run. At least the truck stop is only half full. Guess a lot of drivers are smart enough to be HOME on a holiday weekend.

Been with Schneider for 3 months and was thinking of switching to team. Is there anywhere on crossroads that matches drivers together?
