A DAC report listing has no bearing on a CSA score at all although something like an public accident would be on both. From http://www.jjkeller.com/shop/content____csa-faq_10151_-1_10551

Nothing gets added to a CSA score because of a listing on DAC.

I don’t think any company updates a drivers DAC report until a driver leaves. It is not intended as being something that is update continuously but rather a summery of a drivers experience at a company once they do leave. It is used by companies for recording items that would never make it on a drivers MVR or be on a CSA score like hitting a pole in a private parking lot. A DAC report might have items that are on a drivers CSA score but those items are not on the CSA score because of the DAC report.

The best part about being an IC is walking up to the Gary boot nazis wearing tennis shoes when the yard is a sheet of ice. Then when they are about to flip out you tell them you're an ic and they tell you "that's probably not the best choice of footwear"

I walk right past anyone who starts to question my shoe choice. I don't even acknowledge their presence. LOL

Offered me a local job. I could start later if I want to go midwest regional but in order to get the last local spot if I want it I'd have to be able to start on Monday. I'll be home from this trip tomorrow but not exactly time enough to give a 2 weeks notice were I to take it. It would be 12-14 hr days, home every night and off weekends.

Well, with everything in trucking as far as a job goes I would weigh what works best for you, your family, and your situation and only that. There is only one 'you' in your life. For Schneider, there are many 'you's' - they will simply call 'next man up!' and recruit another driver. A two week notice is a courtesy and not a requirement. If I was offered a much better situation for myself, while I would MUCH prefer to give a full two weeks, I WILL leave with less notice if required. Mature people understand this, the other less mature people need to learn how to deal with it!

Best of luck in whatever choice you make!

Anyone ever talked with an IC that ran dedicated? I've seen only one, but never got a chance to talk to him. He was on the Target account I believe.

You know what we need... a Frito Lay dedicated account. I would be all over that.

For real tho, yes I talked to an IC on target. The mileage pay is less than OTR IC's and when he's at home, they will call him into work at a moments notice. It's an Okay gig if you have no truck payment and a wife that makes all the money.
