Houston OC has both bit the shower is a little better than standing under a water hose. The shop is ok bit if your an IC the on guard system needs to be taken to the dealership so they handle it as warranty the OC may direct bill your settlement either way the on guard WONT get fixed and it will be an issue for the life of the truck. If it stops working the cruise just turn cruise on and off 3 times then cruise will at least work.

Question for you guys on choice. I booked a load in greeneville,tn and the mty miles from shelby,nc said 93. When i got load it said 155. How often does this happen? Are the miles on freight board usually this far off?

not always, but from time to time. Usually it's pretty close, but you have to remember, you're operating off of SNI's HHG index which is post office to post office........the post office could be waaaaaayyyyy on the other side of town. But honestly, I don't think I've ever had one quite that bad (and also, it works in reverse too....)

Most likely sent him the most logical way, with out riding on a goat path hanging of side of mountain. Your actual dh is 167 miles. Best only way to go in a semi. uploadfromtaptalk1421874148398.jpg

There are some odd ones but this is rare. I know another location that has that problem all the time is the Wal-Mart DC in Williamsburg VA. As the crow flies it's not that far. But in reality... you gotta go way up and around! Before you book a load always throw the cities in Google maps and check the route to make sure that the mileage is accurate, and that it's a decent route to drive a big truck on. I learned the hard way getting screwed with the extra miles on what looked like a nice short hop but it actually wasn't, lol.

unless you know where you're going, always do this. That's why that load from south GA to NC pays so well........because it goes across EVERY FREEKIN' goat path in GA, SC, and NC......also, it helps you to say, "well the load pays this many miles, recon how many miles I'll tack on if I stay on the big roads???"

Just calm down and run every day. Forget revenue goals, miles goals, and personal goals, just run 4-500 miles every day and you will be fine.
I KNOW there are guys in the NE and TX that can make a good living doing 2-3 drop and hooks a day and only running 200 miles, but, when you're first starting out, it's easier, just to run.......just ruuuuuuuuunnnnnnn Forest, ruuuuuuuunnnnnn
