I feel your pain, wance I had a bag of frozen chili in my cooler that, as it begain to thaw, leaked out of the cooler and into the cabinet. I only discovered it after it had spoiled. It took a big box of baking soda and a lot of scrubbing to rid the sleeper of that awful stench.
First full week on the new account, and so far so good, what they told me is what I got. Good miles(1,857 paid miles) plus plenty of my unload and stop off pay. I was also in my bed every night but one, I stayed out Thursday night into Friday so I could take a long good paying load to make up for the shorty I volunteered for the Monday after Easter. Communication seems good, I already know my first loads for next week, which again, I will be staying out Monday night to take a long load with a back haul but will be home the rest of the week. The best news? Friday when I got back I was informed all the drivers on the account are getting a 3.5 cent per mile pay hike come May 20th! That, topped with my bonuses for coming to the account, will put me well above what I was making on my old account. The only trade off is having to stay in the truck one night a week instead of none, I will take it.
I believe it is only the drivers on our account, although I didn't really question it, was just told all our drivers are getting the raise.
