I have a question for the choice drivers. Our 60000 mile maintenance schedule says tire rotation. Is this a task for the dealership or does Petro do it? Speedco said no I was already there.

If you have them rotated make sure to get them balanced also.damonarnold816 and frankdawg72 Thank this. -
I myself am completely done with Goodyear. I'll gladly spend the extra money to avoid them.
First steers replaced at 19,480 miles. This past Saturday, had to replace them again (51,321). They claim I have an alignment issue. I'd like to know how they explain the broken belts within the tires. Thus far, I've received a grand total of 196 dollars rebated from the first set, so as of now, I'm out about two grand. Goodyear can kiss my big white rounded posterior.
Things are still going well otherwise. Had to have my Idle Free fixed under warranty (condenser fan switch failed), so I had to idle for about a week. This week just completed was by personal best....light loads, decent rates. The fuel mileage on the truck is starting to pick up....must be breaking in a bit.
However, I'm at home now. My MIL is in her final days (she was put on morphine yesterday and is basically unresponsive), so I'm thankful that I can be here.mickimause Thanks this. -

Do you guys asking these rate questions realize what you are asking? These drivers are taking valueable time to check this area or that.
Its beginning to look to me like you are taking advantage of kindness. Looking for specifics at rate ranges in a fluctuating industry.
Try this, look at how many trucking companies are based from or have a yard in a given area. THAT should be a decent indication of how freight is in a general area. Also might try getting on a dat board or something like it. Believe the split is 65-35 plus fsc or a portion of it)
If I were an IC I would refuse to answer those questions going forward.
Also I am not sure the postings of weekly net is reflecting the portion that SHOULD be set aside for TAXES!!!!!Last edited: Jun 23, 2015
gentleroger, rickybobby, TennMan and 2 others Thank this. -
Mickeyrat isn't like EF Hutton so all newbies should listen !
mickimause and mickeyrat Thank this. -
These guys and gals who ask for specific info should really be asking the person that refers them and should use that person as a mentor.
As an IC I don't mind answering general questions but for specifics find a mentor and ask him or her.
As fast as the Choice program is growing ( I've heard almost 3,000 ) I now view random newbies as my competition and as such will not be specific and forthcoming with the info.
It's not that I don't want to help, however SFI is growing the Lease program but SNI isn't keeping up with quality loads at the same pace.
More Choice drivers but not more freight !PoleCrusher, harlycharly55, mickimause and 2 others Thank this. -
I asked my DBL the other day , how many IC drivers sni have. He told me the answer and told me not to tell anyone. I didn't ask the reason why. What he told me is not over 3k drivers.
