Schneider Chat Room version 2.0

Welcome aboard. I'm based out of Charlotte and did my training there too. Good group of people do the training program there.

 

Yall can say im lying but i drove 611 a couple days ago in a schneider company truck lol

 

My record was 629 , and I had 20 min left loaded tanker, but the same laws of (pumpkin) physics apply ! ,, I think it was Biloxi MS to Charlotte, IIRC.

 

Thank you to everyone for contributing to all the Schneider threads! Your insight has made my decision very easy. Tonight I am putting in my two weeks notice at my current job and taking the leap to return back onto the road after being out of the game for 4.5 years. Back when I drove before (for almost 3 years) I don't know why I never looked into Schneider. Everyone on these threads seem really positive and happy with Schneider. I have already completed physical and drug screen, and God willing, I will be in the Oct 28th orientation up in Dallas. A little nervous since it has been a while, but excited to get back out there again. God Bless everyone, HappyHappyHappy Trails!

 

My record for miles is 667, 64 mph for 10:45 across AZ and NM on I-40.

Daaang i guess my record sucks!!! Lol

 

But i was in hills all the way from Upper Sandusky OH to Memphis

 

Well you know, i did have 610 mile days before that ..Lets just say the stars were aligned, hills on 85 were perfect for 'nudging' it up to 65 at the top of the hills, then coasting down at a good clip

 

I did 610, up a 5% grade the whole way, with 46k in the box, in frezzing rain, and I had to use my tire chains to fight off the yetis.
