Lol, just relax and enjoy the views. Should only weigh a bazillion lbs coming out of there. If you have a dashcam, hit record as soon as you turn on to the bridge.

I screwed up and wasted a chunk of my day. Went 64 to 81 from Norfolk area thinking , screw the back roads.....

Should something in the notes specific about entry points. Or more to the point which are restricted.

Like we might have had with final directions macro. Ended up driving 80 or so miles extra. Hell the atlas map shows its good. But the restrictions page lists the two "shortest" routes in.
Now that US 460 is it worth taking that over to 77? Or is it really better to stay on 81 over to 77?

Been working for schneider since June 2014, end of last year I decided I'll go ahead and try the choice program. Went through the entire process picked out truck setup orientation got my hotel room I mean the whole nine. The day before I got ready to leave I get a phone call from the recruiter telling my I got declined. In my mind I'm like this has to be a mistake, he continued to explain and say it was because my license was suspended back in 2010. My statement hey it was there when they hired me the first time and been there for the last year and a half I've been driving the company truck. He tells me they changed the rule and I'm grandfathered in to drive a company truck but not ic truck. Now I'm dumbfounded isn't it the same insurance, so you guys will let me drive a company truck making small money somthing I'm tired of but want let me change over....same company same insurance but can't change over. The situation just has me so pissed. Wish it was somthing I could do, has put a bad taste in my mouth about this company your nothing but a number and they could careless about your time and services. Time missed with family missed birthdays holidays and they sure know how to show you how greatful they are for it

No you can take 122 instead of 501 it's way better then coming across that bridge dealing with those tight turns

Be careful with too many miles on steers, it's not the tread depth that's always a concern it's usually the fact the the steer tires sidewalls are under more stress than any other tire on the tractor and that's where most blow outs occur according to the tire manufacture.

I got just shy of 200K on my last set of steers, but I run Michelins. They cost more out of the gate, but my friend and I were both getting weird wear out of our steers before. I don't know about other Goodyear dealers, but the one in Denver will bend the rules and give you a pretty deep discount if you're Schneider but willing to pay on your own rather than making them jump through the hoops to get Schneider to pay out of your maintenance account. They'd rather get paid today than in 3 months.
