Scythe, have you talked to a bulk recruiter?

SNI and SNBC are actually two different companies (not divisions). I vaguely remember someone being in the same situation as you, then they called bulk and got it done. I get the impression bulk isn't shy about poaching from SNI.

ive also heard that overspeed needs to be at or below 5% before they'll bring you on. Apologies if you knew all this already, or if I'm wrong, just trying to make sure you're not getting delayed unnecessarily. It doesn't hurt to call them if you haven't.

You can ask your dbl or check your paystatement. Used to ve able to check it on crossroads but thet are "updating" so its doesnt work at the moment.

Did you just hit the 6 month mark this month? If so, any raise doesn't come into effect until the 1st of the following month. So you would get a raise on any loads originating on or after nov 1st if this is the case

We are separate in only the most technical sense. Recruiters are the same, they place people according to their wishes when possible but there are no bulk specific recruiters. However if he was to move to Houston I bet exceptions could be made.

I was originally hired in the bulk division and I was going to relocate to Houston, but I couldn't afford the move at the time, plus being unemployed for so long and some personal finance drama made getting an apartment much harder than I liked.

I got over my fit. Working on just saving money and being a better driver.

The overspeed has me a little worried. My truck does 67 and they dispatch me like it on the "Hot Loads" I'm going to have to keep my eye of that!

BTW, do I need new glasses or are the new Freightliners Cascadia is smaller than the previous ones? I swear to god that the sleepers look like they are 2 feet shorter. If I see one, Ill snag a picture. I can't ever get the old vs new side by side

I think some of them are... also seen some guys running the mid-roofs with just air dams and most are short-hoods probably with the DD13. Mostly intermodal but I have seen some of those pulling van trailers too.

Also, never, ever, give up that Schneider truck that does 67MPH. Ever. Is it 67 on cruise or pedal? If its cruise it shouldn't hurt your overspeed, if pedal, yep.

Its on the pedal. It was an IC truck before I got it. Beat to hell, but from the look of the engine it had some major work done to it. Run good with some personality flaws and always looks filthy because its black.
