I had zero problems with my truck until I got my PM done 2 months ago. It's been in the shop 6 times and towed twice since then. All starting on the 2nd day after the PM. Just sayin. Doesn't surprise me about the hold time. It's sad how long they keep us waiting. I'm assuming that you can't do a regen with that code either.

 

PM was done in Marion at the Intermodal shop.

 

I've never had a problem with the Obetz shop either, the few times I've been there.

 

That's why you need a Volvo, the whole thing will under the sleeper. I'd take the handle off, and put it in the top bunk when I had a shaker.

 

Ok, now I'm pissed. I went to pick up my trailer at 0400 this morning. The bills were supposed to be on the trailer since the offices were closed yesterday and this morning for Memoral Day. Well, no bills, and nothing to do but wait. I have a 0600 delivery near Newburgh, NY tomorrow and would have really liked to get in the area early for obvious reasons.

 

I was surprised when I got my first truck that it didn't have pass-through storage underneath like alot of other trucks. I guess the bunk heater gets in the way, but it's kind of a waste of storage space having it compartmentalized like it is. In my opinion at least. Then again, I only carry a weeks worth of supplies and clothing so I'm sure a long hauler wouldn't want brooms and coolant bottles laying on top of his suit case.

 

I got that beat. I start at 0100 daily, that means I need to be out the gate at 0100, I start the truck at 0030.
Go in to get my bols, some little Mexican with a tude says, " They'll be ready when they are ready."
Whoa pardon the F out of me. So I go sit for 20 minutes. 0100 is the deadline. 0105 I ask if they are ready.
" What stores do you have again?" he ask.
2 & 4
" Those were done 2 hours ago."
Well they aren't here.
"That bald headed driver probably took them, he's known for that."
Well that does me no good, he's gone, and there's nothing I can do about that.
" THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO EITHER! !"

Well can'take you make me some copies so I can go?
