Well they found me a glider to borrow.

If you happen to see anyone walking around with a garbage bag stuck to their ### this week, that'll be me. Make sure you say hi. Oh well, beggars cant be choosers and I am grateful that I'll be able to boogie once my 34 is up. That's all I care about. Now comes the fun part of moving all my stuff into the loaner. I should be pretty efficient at it by now.

Tell them to replace the cushion.
-
Is this loaner just to complete your load?

ABF has my app now.91B20H8, Dave_in_AZ, rickybobby and 1 other person Thank this.

Yea, I have 2 stops in TX for Monday and tuesday and I'll return the loaner whenever they call me about my truck. This is my first time staying out on the weekend. Hopefully it winds up being worth it.
The service writer already wants to stab me because the wrecker operator pulled the axles. Ya know, cuz that's my fault and all. I might just do myself and the next driver a favor and switch it out with the passenger cushion while I'm bored out of my mind tomorrow. But I'll probably just get lazy and put a towel down. -
Screw him, You ask if its a seat he would sit in 10-11 hrs a day. Still messes with you , you ask for the shop managers name. Or the terminal manager inside the OC.

Sadly, it might come to that. We deal with truck stop employees, shippers, and receivers all day long that act like we're inconveniencing them for making them do their job. Shouldn't have to deal with the same thing on company property.
I'll be doing a very thorough PTI tomorrow. The last driver got canned according to the previous messages and it wasn't pretty. I highly doubt that they did any type of inspection recently. -
LOL
A lot of dudes in our little sewing circle complain about the wrenches at our OC, is that pretty standard? I mean do you often have problems getting things fixed correctly? -
maybe its how you approach them, but I never have a problem getting something taken care of. I also understand they work for the same company I do. As such are bound by policies that only make sense in cheeseland.Last edited: Jun 4, 2016
TennMan Thanks this. -
Well if our day cabs go down, they conjure up regular sleeper tractors from somewhere.
But do you feel they are compitent wrenches?
I have no experience with them, so all is hear say to me.
I do know one dude dropped his off, got it back, it ran correctly for like 15 minutes, then got towed back to the OC.91B20H8 Thanks this.
