I feel like somebody has purposely been hosing my ETA times. 0800 delivery time for 3 days straight, and check again two hours before I am supposed to make the drop. When I finally get to my destination they've changed the delivery time to 1100.
They've done this to me 3 times in the past two weeks.
Oh, and watch out for when they add or drop something in the workflow: your ETAs get hosed and you have to reenter them.
Other than some stuff I can really nitpick at, Schneider has been good to me. I'm getting decent miles and I've really haven't had any major problems with them at all. Its just the small stuff like when there are no empty trailers available and they don't believe you because of what their computer says; just annoying stuff like that. -
Yep pay attention to ETA when they add a pu. Most times they don't release those is a customer has a hold on them. Other times when they send u some where else is either. A to many empties in they market or its been at a customer to long

We have plenty of openings.....3 drivers hurt the last 2 weeks. Over the last two days every driver had to meet with an OSR to go over safety items and get issued an SNI back brace......ironically, over 2 years with the company, it is the first thing I have ever gotten from them LOLmickeyrat Thanks this.

havent called her to verify. As I understood it , a spot was to be had even with the delay. I might have her work it from her end and me lobby from my end to expedite this. I'm ready.
Peak season, account drivers get sat idle to accommodate 3rd party carriers with plum runs to satisfy the contracts signed with said carriers. See very very few system drivers, which I dont understand, unless its the unload and stop pay differential that system gets paid running it vs 3rd party.
Last week I had a 500 mile paid run 2 stops pulled from me to give to 3rd party while I was then given a 200 mile 3 stopper. Made for a $90 lighter check this week. -
Got stuck in the mud today bobtailing. Rocked the truck back and forth for 30 minutes, tried reverse, forward gears, 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th. Then tried high range gears 6th 7th and 8th. No luck. Looked at how my steer tire sunk into the ground and figured the only way out was reverse. Then figured I'd try out high range reverse. Bingo. A few rocks back and forth and I pulled right out. So now I can say that high reverse actually has at least some use.

I am training another driver Monday, seems we get 1 to 2 new drivers a week. I would stay in touch with her to make sure you still have a spot, we have more loads than drivers and they are looking hard for drivers.mickeyrat Thanks this.

I seen a team Schneider truck pulling some ESTES doubles. What's the deal with that? I never knew about that.
-
I've pulled 2 or 3 loads for Estes. Of course they were loaded into schneider trailers and I pulled them from terminal to terminal. Probably a temporary contracted situationBossOutlaw88 Thanks this.

Tried it, says I have no points to purchase. Sent an e-mail to customer service, I want my freaking jacket.
